About EcoTechNewsWorld
My name is Tom, and I've been following environmental technology long enough to have seen a lot of promising ideas come and go. Some of them worked. Many didn't, at least not in the way their early coverage suggested. That gap between what gets announced and what actually happens is what this site is about.
EcoTechNewsWorld covers technologies that sit at the intersection of energy, sustainability, and environmental management — things like grid-scale energy storage, water treatment systems, low-carbon construction materials, clean transportation, and the policy and infrastructure questions that determine whether any of it gets built at scale. The focus is on how these technologies actually function, what their real-world constraints are, and what the evidence says about their potential.
I'm not a researcher or an academic. I'm someone who reads widely across this field and finds most of the available coverage either too shallow or too promotional. A lot of sustainability journalism repeats press release claims without much scrutiny. A lot of technical writing assumes background knowledge most readers don't have. I started writing here because I wanted something in between — detailed enough to be useful, honest enough to be worth reading.
Articles on this site are based on publicly available information, industry reports, project documentation, technical publications, and reporting from sources I consider reliable. Where I'm uncertain about something, I try to say so.
EcoTechNewsWorld is an independent site. It has no commercial relationships with the companies or technologies it covers, and no advertiser or sponsor influences what gets written or how.
